Obi Sash is Good for Obesity Prevention

I found a book which title is ”Obi for Obesity Prevention”.

The book says, obi sash train stomach muscle and warmth innards. These prevent immune compromise and obesity. Convincing?

I think it is true since old Japanese who wore kimono and tied sash everyday, were slim and longevity. All of my great-grandma, grandpa and grandma who wore kimono daily lived until 96-99!

Could be, my belly stays flatter when wearing kimono all day, maybe due to the restriction and warmth?
But I do believe health(er) diet of the old days, help a lot too.

Wow, that's interesting! Now I can't help but associate the waist slimming belts with the obi. I used these stuff everyday in the past. Perhaps they are made that thick to be like the width of the obi's for kimono?
